EGOT-winning icon, entrepreneur, and cannabis advocate Whoopi Goldberg toasted to a new era in cannabis beverages this past Thursday night with the official launch of Whoop-Tea — a half tea, half lemonade mocktail with 10mg of hemp-derived THC, created in partnership with Pure Genesis, a leading Black woman-owned cannabis and hemp company.
The exclusive launch party took over PB Brasserie in Harlem, bringing together celebrities, industry insiders, and wellness tastemakers to celebrate the arrival of a drink that blends plant-based joy, culture, and social connection.
Guests sipped chilled Whoop-Tea while enjoying tray-passed bites, an interactive rolling station, and a roaming photobooth capturing vibrant moments throughout the night. The vibe was set by a live DJ spinning everything from classic soul to modern beats, creating a full-sensory experience rooted in relaxation and celebration.
Attendees included Goldberg’s family along with Fern Mallis, Stacy London, and other surprise guests, all on hand to support Whoopi’s continued leadership in the cannabis wellness movement.
