B-Real of Cypress Hill: Innovating in Music and Cannabis

B-Real, frontman of Cypress Hill, remains a cultural icon not only for his contributions to music but also for his leadership in the cannabis industry. Known for his distinctive voice and advocacy for cannabis legalization, B-Real continues to innovate across multiple industries.

Music Career and New Projects

B-Real is still active in the music world. He recently announced a solo album titled Let Me Tell You Something, set to release in 2024. This album, produced by Scott Storch, features collaborations with artists like Berner, Krayzie Bone, and Devin The Dude, reflecting his deep connections in the hip-hop community. Additionally, Cypress Hill continues to perform and engage with fans, demonstrating the group’s enduring appeal and relevance.

Dr. Greenthumb’s Dispensary and Cannabis Ventures

B-Real is the visionary behind the Dr. Greenthumb brand, which he founded in 2018. Initially starting with a dispensary in Sylmar, California, the brand has grown into a cannabis powerhouse, now operating in five states, including California, Arizona, and Michigan. Through a recent partnership with The Flower Shop in Arizona, Dr. Greenthumb’s launched its signature flower line with strains categorized into three tiers: Loyalty, Legacy, and Unapologetic. These tiers cater to various consumer preferences, emphasizing quality and accessibility.

B-Real is committed to normalizing cannabis and ensuring high standards in cultivation. Collaborations like the one with The Flower Shop—a company revitalizing Arizona’s former mining towns with its cultivation efforts—showcase his dedication to community and quality. His role in expanding the Dr. Greenthumb brand highlights his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the cannabis culture

B Real of Cypress Hill opens Dr. Greenthumb’s Dispensary in Fresno, CA with TRP Partnership

Just last April, B Real announced the opening of his newest Dr. Greenthumb’s dispensary in Freso, CA.

“This store has been a long time coming, and it is exciting to serve the Tower District Community. We want the community to feel connected to the legacy of cannabis and how we have played a role and how we can support them,” said B Real. “When we open a store, it becomes all about the people and ensuring they can trust our name and products as we want our customer experience to set us apart from the other dispensaries.”

Dr. Greenthumb’s dispensaries have become a staple of the California cannabis landscape for half a decade. Having opened the first Dr. Greenthumb’s dispensary in 2018 in Los Angeles, the Dr. Greenthumb’s brand has quickly expanded its offerings to include a flower line, vapes and other smoking devices. This is the first dispensary of a multi-store partnership with TRP; a retail, cultivation, and distribution platform. The newest dispensary opening is a major win for the brand as the state of the industry continues to be challenging in many localities. This marks the brand’s 6th store in the state of California.

The Future of B-Real’s Legacy

Beyond music and cannabis, B-Real also plays a significant role in media. His BREAL.TV platform, established over a decade ago, continues to thrive, influencing how hip-hop artists engage with their audiences in the digital age. Whether through music, cannabis entrepreneurship, or media, B-Real is a pioneer reshaping the cultural landscape.

With more music on the horizon and a rapidly growing cannabis brand, B-Real remains at the forefront of innovation and advocacy. His ability to merge cultural authenticity with entrepreneurial success cements his status as a modern-day Renaissance man.
