Humboldt Green Events, producers of Cannifest, are thrilled to announce that Cannifest 2025 will take place on Labor Day Weekend, August 30th and 31st, at Halverson Waterfront Park in Humboldt County. This year’s festival promises an unforgettable celebration of cannabis culture, music, and community.
Cannifest has become a cornerstone Humboldt event, originally held in 2015, and 2025 marks its 10-year anniversary. The festival is held on the waterfront, offering stunning views and a beautiful setting for this year’s celebration. “We’re incredibly excited to bring Cannifest back,” says Stephen Gieder, Executive Director of Humboldt Green Events. “We’re always striving to elevate the experience, and this year, we’ve truly outdone ourselves. We’re thrilled to be continuing to upgrade our production to accommodate higher-tier musical acts than we ever have before.”
The highlight of Cannifest 2025 is the performance by the world-renowned funk and jam band, The String Cheese Incident. The band will grace the stage for two full sets, delivering
their signature blend of improvisational music and infectious energy. The String Cheese Incident has not played here in over two decades, making Cannifest a must-attend event for fans. Attendees are encouraged to book local lodging as well as discounted tickets for a limited time. Additionally, organizers are pleased to announce that Cannifest 2025 will be an all-ages event, welcoming the entire community to participate in the festivities. A dedicated 21+ lounge will be available for regulated cannabis sales and consumption, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
